Meeting Theme
Toastmaster of the Day Usamah Zagaar
The Toastmaster is responsible for facilitating the section of the meeting dedicated to prepared speeches. He or she introduces the meeting theme (if applicable) as well as the Ah Counter, Grammarian, and Timer roles.
Prepared Speeches
Speaker 1 Brittney Edwards
Speaker 2 Sally Boyd, DTM
Delivers a prepared speech via webcam; returns control back over to the Toastmaster.
Extemporaneous Speeches
Topics Master Douglas Van Camp
Invites a series attendees to deliver 1-2 minute impromptu speeches; turns meeting over to General Evaluator.
Evaluation
General Evaluator Member not found
Calls upon the evaluators for each of the prepared speeches to deliver his or her evaluation.
Evaluator 1 Loni Huff
Evaluator 2 Member not found
Speech Evaluators provide evaluation of a speaker's prepared speech before returning control of the meeting to the General Evaluator.
Timer Brittney Edwards
Reports upon the time elapsed during each prepared speech, table topic, and evaluation.
Grammarian Loni Huff
Monitors usage of the “Word of the Day” and reports upon both skillful and imprecise uses of the English language.
Ah Counter Sara Gilheart
Reports upon the use of filler words (ex. “um”) and repeated “double clutch” words.
