The Toastmaster takes care of any preliminary business before calling the meeting to order and welcoming guests.
Prepared Speeches
Speaker Open
Delivers a prepared speech; returns control back over to the Toastmaster.
Extemporaneous Speeches
Topics Master Open
Invites a series of attendees to deliver 1-2 minute impromptu speeches; gives control of meeting to the General Evaluator.
Evaluation
General Evaluator Open
The General Evaluator conducts the final third of the meeting, explaining the value provided by Evaluation in Toastmasters. He or she calls upon the Speech Evaluator to provide his or her evaluation of the guest's speech.
Evaluator Open
The Evaluator provides an evaluation of the guest speaker's prepared speech before returning control to the General Evaluator.
Grammarian Douglas Van Camp
The Grammarian reports on the use of the Word of the Day.
Timer Open
The Timer provides a report of times for the speaker and table topics speakers.
